Iced Tetley Green Tea with Lemon
teas.co.uk · 5 min plus cooling · Serves 1
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Green Tea with Lemon
- 100ml just off boil water cooled to about 80C (boil, then rest the kettle for roughly 90 seconds)
- 100ml cold water
- A tall glass of ice
- Optional: a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint
Method
- Make a double strength brew so the ice cannot dilute it to nothing. Let the boiled kettle stand for about 90 seconds, then pour 100ml of the 80C water over one bag.
- Steep for just two minutes, then lift the bag out and let it drip rather than squeezing it.
- Give the concentrate a few minutes to cool, then top it up with 100ml of cold water to bring it back to drinking strength.
- Fill a tall glass with ice, pour the tea over, and add a lemon slice and a sprig of mint.
