The Proper Hot Cup (Tropical Sun Green Tea, 80C, 2 Minutes)

You'll need

• 1 tea bag of Tropical Sun Green Tea
• 250ml just boiled water, cooled to around 80C (check with a thermometer)
• Honey or a slice of lemon, optional

Method

1. For the Tropical Sun green tea, boil the kettle and leave it to reach about 80C; a thermometer or a kettle with a set temperature makes it simple.
2. Pop the green tea bag in your mug and pour over the slightly cooled water.
3. Steep for just 2 minutes, no longer, so it stays smooth and fresh.
4. Lift out the bag without squeezing it, which would release bitterness.
5. Drink the Tropical Sun green plain, or with honey or lemon.
6. No temperature kettle? Pour 20ml cold water into the mug first, then the boiling water, to land near 80C.
