How to Brew Tetley Decaf Pure Green Tea
teas.co.uk · 4 min · Serves 1
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Decaf Pure Green Tea
- 200ml just off boil water cooled to about 80C (boil the kettle, then let it stand for roughly 90 seconds)
- Optional: a slice of lemon or a little honey
Method
- Boil the kettle and give it about 90 seconds to settle to roughly 80C, since boiling water scorches green leaf even when it is decaf.
- Drop a bag into your mug and pour over 200ml of the cooled water.
- Steep for two to three minutes, then lift the bag out and let it drip, without pressing it.
- Drink it as it is, or with a slice of lemon or a little honey; at under four milligrams of caffeine a cup, it is fine last thing at night.
