teas.co.uk · 6 min · Serves 1
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Lipton Organic Green Tea
- 250ml freshly drawn water cooled to 80C
- 1 250ml mug, warmed
- 1 saucer for covering during steep
Method
- Warm your mug with a little hot water and pour it away.
- Boil the kettle and let it stand a minute or two to drop to around 80C.
- Drop in the tea bag and pour the cooled water over.
- Cover with a saucer and steep for three minutes, no longer.
- Lift the bag out and drink it as it is; plain green needs nothing added.
- Tip: keep the bag and re steep it within the hour for a lighter, softer second cup.
