                "Boil the water, pour over the 6 temples in a covered jug and steep 8 minutes for a deep, intense berry brew; hibiscus does not turn bitter on a long steep.",
                "Lift the temples out and pour the strong brew into a pan with the sugar and orange zest.",
                "Stir over low heat just until the sugar dissolves, then simmer 4 minutes to a light syrup.",
                "Take off the heat, stir in the lemon juice, and cool.",
                "Strain out the zest and pour into a clean bottle. Hot fruit cup: 1 part base to 4 parts just boiled water. Pink soda: 1 part base, 4 parts cold soda. Punch: dilute to taste with apple or orange juice.",
