The Proper Fennel Cup (Tropical Sun)

You'll need

• 1 tea bag of Tropical Sun Fennel
• 250ml freshly boiled water (100C)
• Honey, optional, to taste
• A slice of lemon, optional

Method

1. Pop the fennel bag in your favourite mug.
2. Pour freshly boiled water over the Tropical Sun fennel; it needs 4 to 5 minutes to steep.
3. Lift out the bag without squeezing it, which keeps the cup sweet rather than sharp.
4. Taste the fennel; a little honey or a lemon slice is optional.
5. Sip warm and enjoy the gentle aniseed.
6. For a stronger fennel note, press the bag once against the side of the mug before lifting; the aniseed character can handle it.
