Method

  1. Pop the tea bag in a big mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 5 minutes so the cinnamon, ginger and spice come through.
  3. Lift out the bag without squeezing it.
  4. Drink as it is for a clear golden cup, or add a splash of milk for a caffeine free chai style brew.
  5. A little honey rounds it off nicely. Sip warm.
  6. Add whole milk at a 1:1 ratio with the brewed tea; the spice blend is complex enough to work as a caffeine free masala chai.
