Method

  1. Boil fresh water and pour it over the bag at a full 100C.
  2. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. This blend holds its strength where the water is hard, while ordinary tea often goes flat and skins over.
  3. Press the bag against the side of the mug, then lift it out.
  4. Add a splash of milk; the brew should look bright, not greyish on top.
  5. Descale your kettle now and then, as loose limescale flecks can take the edge off even this blend.
