Pukka added a third Manuka-spiked blend to the wellness range. Lemon, ginger, manuka honey aroma, a bit of turmeric. Punchy and warming, more medicinal than the regular Lemon Ginger. Worth the extra quid if you actually want the manuka note.

This is the latest Manuka SKU in Pukka's range, joining a pair of earlier blends built around the same honey supplier. The honey itself is sourced from New Zealand and the producer is named on the box. Manuka is the dominant aroma; citrus and ginger sit underneath, with turmeric as a base note rather than a headline.
Manuka honey is graded by UMF, the Unique Manuka Factor system the New Zealand Manuka Honey Association uses to define what counts as authentic. In a teabag the honey goes in as flavour, not as a dose. A hot infusion would denature the heat-sensitive compounds anyway. You are buying the aroma, not a supplement.
The 20-bag pack is the standard Pukka format and the one most British supermarkets stock. Loose leaf is not on the launch list. Per-bag cost lands in the same band as the rest of the Pukka wellness range, which is where they want it.
Pukka was founded in Bristol in 2002 by Tim Westwell and Sebastian Pole. Pole is a practising herbalist, which has shaped the formulation logic across the range from the start. Acquired by Unilever in 2017, B Corp recertified earlier this year. The wellness range is still where most of their volume sits.
