Our 2025 annual tea report is published. 325 SKUs reviewed, 36 brands, every product tasted and rated by the curator team. Top 10 by curator rating, fastest-growing categories, biggest movers vs last year. Free PDF, no email signup required.

Every SKU on the site is brewed by at least two curators across three separate sittings. Tasting is to a fixed brewing parameter (per the family-specific brew guide), in identical white porcelain cups, blind to brand where practical. The rating is a 5-point scale with half-point increments. Notes are mandatory: a rating without a note does not enter the database.
Headline findings from the 2025 report: Caribbean herbal teas were the fastest-growing category by SKU count, with seven new lines onboarded. Functional wellness teas (Pukka, Yogi, Twinings Superblends) were the largest by volume. The single highest curator-rated product was Hyson Blackcurrant Infused Black Tea at 4.9 out of 5, the only product to score above 4.8 across all three sittings.
The report is not marketing. It is a working document for the trade and a transparency tool for retail customers. Cafés and offices use the top-10 by curator rating to build their tea menu. Retail buyers use the biggest-movers tab to see which lines we are leaning into. Journalists who cover UK tea cite it as the only independently-rated UK retail tasting dataset. PDF is hosted on the site, version-stamped, public domain to share with attribution.
Compared to the 2024 report: range up by close to 20 SKUs, a few new brands onboarded, two brands discontinued from our shelf (one for quality drift, one for label-claim concerns we raised internally).
